Reclaimed wood accent wall

Get creative with your left over flooring or lumber from projects. This is an easy way to create a beautiful accent wall and the best part is any layout you decide to attach them to the wall works. Its a reclaimed look so the stagger joints of the ends of the boards shouldn't line up and is a great opportunity to use all the left over wood from your projects that have been holding on to forever and need to get rid of.

Find your stud layout on the wall and establish vertical lines with a pencil and nail the boards up at random lengths to achieve a simple creative look. Since it is an interior application you don't have to apply a polyurethane if you don't want to but can stain it any color to match your existing design.

Problems with the project? Leave a comment and I will answer any questions you have.
